This policy explains what information ResearchAdministrationExamPrep.com collects, how it is used to run your study experience, and the choices you have over it.
Who We Are
ResearchAdministrationExamPrep.com is an independent educational platform that helps research administration professionals prepare for the Certified Research Administrator (CRA) examination. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or operated by the Research Administrators Certification Council.
Account Information We Collect
When you create an account we collect your email address, a securely hashed password credential, and any optional display name or candidate type you provide (for example, first-time taker, retaker, or recertifier). If you record a target examination date, we store that date so the platform can show countdowns and study pacing.
Study Progress We Store
To power lessons, practice sessions, and your dashboard, we store module completion, quiz and practice attempts, selected answers, scores, timing, and derived accuracy statistics. This information is tied to your account so your progress persists across devices.
Authentication Data
Authentication is handled by a managed identity provider. Passwords are never stored in plain text. Session tokens are stored in your browser so you remain signed in and are cleared when you sign out. We do not have access to your plaintext password.
Cookies and Analytics
We use browser storage that is strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to remember study preferences such as audio settings. We use aggregate, privacy-respecting usage measurement to understand which lessons and features are used. We do not run advertising trackers and we do not build advertising profiles.
How Your Information Is Used
Your information is used to operate your account, deliver lessons and practice content, calculate progress and score reports, provide support, and improve the accuracy and usefulness of the platform. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Correction and Deletion
You may review and update your account information at any time from the Account page while signed in, which also explains how to request deletion of your account and associated study history. You may also email support to request correction or deletion. Deletion removes your account record and the study history linked to it.
Data Retention
We retain account and progress data for as long as your account is active. When you request deletion, we remove the associated records from active systems; residual copies may persist briefly in routine encrypted backups before expiring.
Children
The platform is intended for working professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and revise the effective date below. Continued use of the platform after an update indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
